
P-SHIFT
The practice type P-shift is the easiest for beginners, and the safest for beginners, so it is the first one we are going to do. However it is the less convenient form because it can only be done in controlled conditions, and every time you do this type of P-shift, you become more animal and less human. It's animalization factor is about 0.75%DH/S (see the Meters folder in the Data page, in the Animalization file.). This is not incredibly high, but it is still higher than useful for somebody who plans to shift more than a few times.
Now, you need to realize what you are getting yourself into by doing this. This is a major lifestyle change, and is not something to enter into without being sure that you are ready to make a drastic permanent change to your life. If you do this right, you can act and look like a human still, but you will not be a human, and you will be different. Just acknowledge that. You alone are responsible for anything that you do.
To begin P-shifting, you need to understand how the shift is going to work. There are some laws of physics called the law of conservation of matter and energy, meaning that when you shift, everything that your new body is made of comes from your old body. Also, the matter requires energy to move, which means that your body must expend energy to shift. Basically, your mind sends a command to your body, telling it that it is not in the right form, and to change into the correct form that matches your mind's command. Then that causes the other genetic form to take form by using the energy your body stores to move each bit of material to it's new location in a pattern that allows you to remain alive during the shift. When this is over, your body has taken a full new form and your mind has animal dominance.
To begin the actual shifting, you need to set the controlled conditions. You need to make yourself as relaxed as possible. It doesn't matter how you stand or sit or lay, as long as you are very relaxed, because when you hit the shift, it will grab and take control of your body, and move you to the position you need to be in. You also need to make sure that there are no distractions at all, minimal noise, no distractions. Then you need to just get into a comfortable position, and stay there as long as possible relaxing. Listen to your breathing. Try not to move, try to allow your body to fall asleep, but you to remain awake. once you are in this relaxed stationery state, you then need to deny being human. You need to think of yourself as an animal. You need to Flare your M-shift. Once you have done this, imagine yourself in one of these ways:
1. You are thinking of yourself as human (while denying it) and imagining your body becoming your were-animal. (Most effective if you can do it perfectly, but most people have a hard time seeing their human self and denying it)
2. You are thinking of yourself as a human (while denying it) and imagining a ghost of your were-animal entering it, and changing it
3. Imagine yourself as an animal very vividly. Do NOT stop thinking about it. Hold it as long as possible (Most effective way)
4. Imagine your animal, and fall asleep thinking of it vividly and thinking of it as yourself (dangerous, and often you don't see your shift or animal form at all unless you get possession. Not recommended)
It is recommended that you try to focus on one body part alone when you start practicing. I recommend the teeth, eyes, or the hands, then from there you can just keep going. After that, you can attempt the full shift. The individual body parts will get results first. Then the full body will come later after you have shifted the individual body parts. At first, you will get little or no results. Very few things will happen in the first few tries. You might get a tingling, or a weird feeling or two, maybe some aches. but that will be it. These feelings will amplify if you are building up the shift properly. As you get near, you will feel very great all over your body. It is a wonderful powerful sensation. This will build stronger during your shifting sessions until you feel like you have lost control of your body. This is your shift taking over your body. This is called the barrier. At this point, your body is changing into animal form rapidly. In the practice type shift, it will take between 15 seconds and 2 minutes. When this is over, you will be in animal form. It is important that you do not panic at all during this. If you do, it can either terminate the shift and nothing will happen for that attempt. It can also cause overshoot, and turn you into an animal forever. These are usually rare, as it is more likely to cause a terminated shift, and I know it can be a little hard to control your fear, but when you hit the barrier, just let go and allow your wolf side to take control of your body for that short time and everything will go smoothly. That is the Practice type P-shift.
Now you need to know how to change back. It is really very simple, the first few times you do it, falling asleep will work, but you will eventually have to just tell yourself that you are human. If you haven't passed the PNR, then you will still be able to do that without having to go through with a full reverse shift, which is the exact same thing as shifting, but trying to go from animal to human instead. That is all there is to changing back.
